The festival of lights – Diwali.. Often celebrated as the day of return of Lord Rama to Ayodhya. In Bengal it is celebrated as Kali puja…both the occasions as the victory of good over evil and fulfillment.
For the Jains, this is the auspicious Mahavir Nirvan Divas.. when Lord Mahavir attained the soulfull bliss of Nirvana.
